Our world is passing into darkness. When we are gone let the next universal voice take notice of our doings. And when it says "the people did nothing to avert the end" let us interpret that voice as saying that 'I' did nothing.

A: I don't think. Not do I act or try not to be certain of my actions. B:When all fails I feel elated from the challenge of making things right. C: If nothing works then I cry to the moon for mental repair. D: When my mind fails me it is my spirit that comes to my aid of it's own volition. F! All of it nonsense!

Where is the 'E' in this foolish grading system? It is not that which I represent that counts so much as the truth. The times. The end of days. Finally, the burial of my body. ...

The people's vote should count primarily for electing officials like the president, even in a republic, and those elected officials should vote on legal legislation, jurisdiction, and enforcement. I don't believe that only elected officials' votes should override the popular vote when that vote concerns everyone in the nation and is a vote for a representative of that nation rather than a vote for legislation, jurisdiction, or enforcement.
